Safe to the touch, the 10417 cuts intricate details into thin materials with an easy-to-control handle. When you’re done, retract the blade by clicking the plunger—it’s as familiar and easy to use as a ballpoint pen. As with all Slice safety blades, the installed 10418 cartridge’s blade is made from 100 percent zirconium oxide, an advanced ceramic that’s much harder than steel. In fact, Slice blades last up to 11 times longer than metal blades. They don’t require any oil coating or lubricant, they’re chemically inert, and they’ll never rust.
